Surgery, furry fun, and future projects

Hi everyone!

So a month ago I went through another surgery, this time to fix that medical condition (a stoma, namely). I've got to say, compared to last time... I feel fantastic! My body pretty much feels the way it did before the whole ordeal, which I am incredibly happy about. Feeling for the rest of my life that something is not "right" in my body was my main fear going into that surgery.

Goodbye, weird belly butt. Hooray for being able to poop again.

Since I've been recovering really fast, I'm already back at my place (Ahh, I've missed you, mechanical keyboard) and attending uni courses.

While I was still staying at my parents' place, I attended my very first furry event! It was the Poznań fursuit walk! (Poznański furwalk) I sadly couldn't be there for the full thing (I didn't have enough strength for a 2+km walk), but! I was at the afterparty, and I was a seller at the mini dealer's den! I met some incredibly cool people, and made some friends ^_^

Am I a furry? Depends on who's asking, but... yeah, I guess I am. I've been really into furry stuff for as long as I've been engaging with online communities. I don't know why I haven't engaged with local furries until now. I think that when I was younger I was convinced furry events and meetups only happened in the US. It probably is true that there used to be way less of them in my country than there is now... Well, now that there's so many, I can make up for it!

The fursuit walk (and my little sister being in a huge furry phase right now) triggered a desire I've been repressing ever since I've first learned about furries. I.. Really want to make a fursuit.

I was so excited to start that I've started working on two at once. One's for me, and the other's for my sister! They're gonna be partials, because 1. I do not want to attempt something that advanced for my first sewing/crafting project in a while, 2. Bodysuits seem really impractical (especially if I made one for my sister, who is still growing a lot).

I occassionally break out of my fursuit trance to work on uni projects. I have just recently finished sewing some head lining, and I hope that is enough to satisfy my craft-lust for a while, as I may be falling behind on coursework a bit...

As of now, I'm working on:

I am kind of procrastinating on all that right now, writing this post, lol... But hopefully I can get all this done enough to pass my classes. Haha.

That's all for now. Thanks for reading.

I've opened an askbox on Retrospring. You can ask me about pretty much anything. (within reason...) If I get a couple questions I'll put them in the next blog post. I'll also be answering them on Retrospring as they come in.

Bajo jajo :)
