He's a wyvern. His tail is of the stubby variety, his long tail feathers making up most of it. His quite large wings allow him to fly (not all wyverns are flighted).

Huno used to be just some guy living in a medium sized village. Then he met Brightfire, who turned his life upside down and brought excitement and adventure into it.

He's timid, shy, and a bit cowardly - but will stand up for himself and his friends in a desperate situation. His brains and brawn are a valuable asset.
