For my birthday, one of my friends made me a plushie. Unfortunately, the seams started breaking loose after a couple months. Today I finally went and fixed it all up. It was a bit overstuffed, so I used the opportunity to thin this guy a bit, so the seams wouldn’t burst again. I found a little surprise inside. That was cute. It’s clear he had a ton of fun making it. Sewing it all back together, I could feel the love, the effort, in the existing seams. I myself am not an expert at sewing either, so it is a prayer I know quite well. “Please hold on.”
