CONTENT WARNING: TRANSPHOBIA
It has been about 2 years since I’ve first made contact with my local furry community.
While I have met many wonderful friends through this, the more time I spend engaged with the fandom, the more it becomes clear that trans women are not welcome in the community, and the community, at least locally, is hostile to all minorities. Though I’d assume this applies to a sizable part of furries as a whole.
I am not affected by transmisogyny, however I have recently been witness to a witch hunt on one of the rare openly trans women in the local fandom. [Read more...]
