Hey all.
I’ve finally put into motion a silly little idea I have. I have installed chickenpaint onto my website, which you can draw with! Here’s the special thing, though: You can only edit this one existing image. And this one existing image will be downloaded and set as my wallpaper every single day!
And since this is public-facing, you can set up your own device for this as well! (At your own risk mind you, I have not set up any moderation for this. Chickenpaint doesn’t allow for image uploads, so everyone is limited by their drawing ability, though). Please be considerate when editing!
When you’re done, be sure to click “Post Oekaki” from the file menu or press CTRL+P! That sends it to the server. Feel free to also download and share your edits.
Please keep in mind that your changes may get removed if someone is editing the same time as you are. Just the way this system works, unfortunately! Do download your drawing if you don’t want to lose it.

Sorry, no clue. If someone knows, please do let me know and I’ll describe the method here.
Linux
Fellow linux users, adding this line to your crontab will download the current image to your Pictures directory every day at midnight:
0 0 * * * wget -O /home/[username]/Pictures/wallpaper.png https://drakonic.zone/draw/current/wallpaper.png
After you add that, run the command outside of cron to download it for the first time, and set it as your wallpaper using your method of choice :3
If your wallpaper doesn’t refresh automatically, you may need to add a cron job that sets the wallpaper again a little after downloading the image.
