Around 10 years ago, in elementary school, my english teacher made us write a letter to our future selves. And made us all actually go and post it to ourselves, with a 10 year delay. At least, I think it has been 10 years - past me didn’t think to write a date on the letter.
A couple days ago, the letter arrived. I no longer live with my parents, so they were surprised to recieve a letter addressed to me, with my handwriting, no less.
some context: Feathers was a 3 minute film I worked on for 3 years solely because I didn’t have a lot of free time (or sometimes, motivation) to really sit down and finish it. I did end up succeeding.
